MELVILLE, NY, March 12, 2023 - Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced the introduction of the new C5100 and 6100 Series A3 multifunction printers as part of the enhanced image FORCE portfolio. Designed to offer high-speed output, high-quality imaging, and new capabilities for sustainable printing in line with present-day workplace demands.
Ideal for workplaces with varying print needs, the FORCE C5100 Series Colour and Monochrome Speed up to 40, 50, 60, and 70 Pages Per-Minute image FORCE C5100 Series is supporting Colour and Monochrome Printing. The FORCE 6100 Series incorporates an array of monochrome output—offered as 55, 60, and 70 pages-per-minute choices—which is great for heavy-duty, billings systems.
Both series introduce Canon's D2 exposure technology that replaces the traditional laser light source with organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), enabling ultra-high-definition output at up to 4800 x 2400 dpi. While just the 70-website page styles can be put together with an internal stapler, even those on the slim finish can be designed for stapling—external stapling and booklet-generating alternatives can now tackle up to 65 sheets for corner and double stapling, up fifteen sheets in comparison with earlier styles.
Sustainability is another key focus. The new printers are made with about 30% recycled plastic - a major advance over the 2% used in much current office equipment. Canon has also prioritized a shift in packaging from foam to recyclable cardboard, limiting unnecessary plastic waste while also reinforcing the eco-conscious design of the 90D.
Complementing the speed, print quality, and recyclable materials, both series easily integrate with Canon's uniFLOW Online platform for secure document management, streamlined workflows, and enhanced control of printing costs.
By launching these series, Canon aims at placing image FORCE C5100 and 6100 Series as one of the front-runners for businesses in search for an A3 multifunction printer that balances performance, sustainability and security.
